| July 22,2009 - | Micrologic Demos in SpringSoft’s DAC Custom IC Design Automation Showcase
| | | San Jose, California - Micrologic Design Automation, Inc. announced the integration of Micrologic’s nanoRVInteractive™ and VisualDRC™ in SpringSoft’s Laker™ Custom Layout Automation System. This integration will be presented in SpringSoft’s DAC Custom IC Design Automation Showcase at the DAC conference in San Francisco from July 27-30 in booth number 3367.
Duncan McDonald, Product Marketing Director for Laker Physical Design said: “The Laker community of partners, which Micrologic is a member of, will show how tools which are leaders in their own right become even more powerful when they interoperate with Laker, each adding value to the other. The SpringSoft Custom IC Design Automation Showcase will be running throughout the show in the SpringSoft booth #3367”.
“VisualDRC™ reads the signoff DRC rule-deck into Laker and graphically highlights the rules as the engineer places and moves polygons, making the layout process correct-by-construction. It supports DRC and DFM rules including complex ones of the deep nanometer technologies,” said Micrologic’s CTO, Dr. Danny Rittman. “In addition it provides live design rule check for the edited window which saves significant time during the IC layout design stage”.
Mr. Rittman added: “NanoRVInteractive™ enables interactive reliability checks such as Electromigration, Antenna, Fuse Effects and Self Heat much before hSpice results are available. The checks are doneinteractively, while the design is edited in Laker.”
